Worried about injury?  Proper training progression is the best injury method to prevent injury.  If recurring injuries are an issue, usually there is a issue with the running form or muscular imbalance of strength or flexibility.  I can analyze your running form and identify the potenial issues causeing the recurring injury.

My name is Tim Detmer, I am a private running coach.  What does that mean?  Basically I help people reach their running goals, whether that is qualifying for the Boston Marathon or starting to run, I outline the specific training program and personally supervise the most important and difficult workouts of the week.

Running is truely to each his own.  It is about personal achievement and betterment.  I do not care if your goal is to run a 15 minute 5K or to finish your first half-marathon, your goal is what we will set out to achieve.

Run coaching is a mix of science and art.  The training progressions and theories I use have been proven to be effective, so I know they work from experience and scientific trials.  The art of run coaching is knowing when to transition training cycles and phases, when to push the athlete, when to back off, and mentally preparing the athlete for the training session, most importantly the races.
